As a Boiler Operator, you'll operate and maintain the boiler plant for the medical campus, ensuring safe and efficient facility operations, and support building systems, assists with hot water boiler maintenance, and respond to alarms or emergency repair requests.

Education Qualifications:

• 2 years of classroom training or 2 years of experience in building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain boiler plant for medical campus.
• Observe and dispatch maintenance engineers for building automation system alarms regarding HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.
• Assist the chief in duties regarding hot water boilers around campus.
• Additionally, may respond to emergency repair requests and carry out additional responsibilities as delegated.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Minnesota 1st class B boilers license or greater
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.
