Job Title: Homecare Caretaker - Immediate Opening!

Company: ComfortCare Homecare (South Windsor, CT)

Seeking a kind and reliable Caretaker for an immediate part-time position: Provide essential support and companionship to a client in their home.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Preparing light meals and assisting with feeding.
• Light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
• Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers within the home.
• Observing and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for the client.
• Adhering to ComfortCare Homecare's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, certified nursing assistant (CNA), or similar role is preferred but not always required. We value individuals with a genuine desire to care for others.
• A compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality are crucial for this consistent schedule.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required depending on client needs.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
