As a Category Manager, you will manage all aspects of an assigned line of products including sales, purchasing, pricing and merchandising. Job DescriptionFull Time, On-Site Role

You will contribute by:
Developing strategic business plans for assigned categories.
Creating sales, buying, and profit plans to achieve target sales and margin goals.
Managing the product mix, including variety, selection, and quality.
Establishing and maintaining retail and wholesale pricing programs to meet specific gross profit and revenue objectives.
Planning product promotions to support departmental goals.
Developing and maintaining category plan-o-grams and overseeing retail merchandising execution.
Managing inventory replenishment and investment buying activities.
Overseeing company and customer assets, including store space, inventory, customer profitability, and company profitability.
Leading efforts related to inventory management, ad coordination, price/data integrity, retail pricing, vendor partnerships, market analysis, and gross margin control.
We’re looking for candidates with:
Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical documents, or government regulations.
Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
Confidence in presenting information and responding to inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal leadership.
Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Analytical thinking skills, including problem identification, data collection, fact-finding, and drawing sound conclusions.
Ability to interpret various types of instructions presented in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Willingness and ability to travel to stores approximately 10% of the time.
