About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Compliance/CRA Officer to oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative, lending, and operational compliance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the company's Compliance Management Program, as well as serving as the Compliance Committee chairperson. This role involves maintaining a thorough knowledge of all relevant banking rules and regulations, conducting quality control reviews for various compliance areas, and ensuring the company meets its community reinvestment act goals. The Chief Compliance/CRA Officer will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating potential risk issues, overseeing audits, and conducting compliance training for all personnel. Applicants for the Chief Compliance/CRA Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' related experience in bank administration, compliance, and supervisory skills. Advanced knowledge of banking products, services, and relevant laws and regulations is essential. The role requires excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle complex problems and work independently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to influence their own development within the company. Responsibilities also include maintaining relationships with community organizations and ensuring the accuracy of various compliance-related calculations and reports.
