Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder (NO C2C)

Role Overview:

The Construction Planner I supports the engineering and execution of HFC network builds and upgrades. This entry-level role involves planning, budgeting, permitting, and coordinating construction activities to deliver high-quality voice, video, and data services to commercial and residential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field engineering and route design to optimize cost-effective construction.
• Coordinate customer implementation efforts including site walks, node placements, and subcontractor scheduling.
• Manage permits, access agreements, and distribution of design and construction documents.
• Analyze and review plans, collect site data, and determine material and labor requirements.
• Partner with public works, developers, and utilities on joint trench and shared infrastructure projects.
• Maintain project workflows and schedules in databases and tools.
• Support budget tracking, material planning, and cost forecasting.
• Estimate construction costs and support capital/expense planning.
• Verify serviceability and survey new build opportunities.
• Secure right-of-way (ROW) agreements and complete route designs.
• Support HFC construction and repair efforts, ensuring compliance with GO-95 and GO-128 standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 0–2 years’ relevant experience in construction or project planning.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of GO-95 and GO-128 regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
