Corporate Travel Consultant.

Corporate Travel Consultant Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience working as a corporate travel consultant.
• Must have corporate travel background with skills in processing airline exchanges, utilizing corporate discount codes and prepaying hotels etc.
• Strong knowledge of GDS reservation system such as Worldspan or Travelport Plus
• Knowledge of airline rules and travel policies
• Excellent knowledge of geography and travel destinations
• Excellent knowledge of travel management processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and destination information to provide accurate and informed advice to clients.
• Exceptional managerial skills and proven ability to work with a variety of service providers and staff members.
• Proficiency in financial management.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in planning and book group airline space for both domestic and international destinations
• Assist clients in planning and booking domestic and international business travel arrangements including flights, hotel, and ground transportation
• Completing daily travel tasks, such as booking tickets and managing credit card operations.
• Tracking and reconciling travel expenses.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and insuring overall satisfaction
• Recording travel activities to ensure they comply with the company travel policy.
• Providing guidance to employees on travel documents, insurance, and travel laws.
• Updating the company travel policy as needed based on market research and travel regulations.
