Creative Director

Neuberger Berman is seeking a Creative Director to join the Marketing team. This person will be responsible for leading and managing Neuberger's in-house "creative agency," with key team members in New York, London, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo. This role will have direct oversight over the firm's creative design and production across print, digital and multimedia. You will work closely with cross-functional teams globally, across brand marketing, corporate communications, content and channel marketing, and with investment professionals and senior leadership, to ensure consistent design and seamless execution across various platforms.

Responsibilities

Creative Direction and Design

  • Lead creative design through the implementation of new brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across marketing and communication materials.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop innovative and captivating storytelling strategies.
  • Oversee the development of engaging and visually compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, reports, and digital assets.
  • Ensure that all creative outputs meet high-quality standards, align with the brand guidelines, and are delivered within established timelines.
  • Provide artistic direction and guidance to the creative team, including designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists.
  • Drive innovation in design and user experience, informed by data and analytics

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of creative professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and investment teams to understand business objectives and translate them into effective creative strategies.
  • Partner with external agencies and freelancers to leverage additional creative resources when necessary.

Market Research and Trends

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to ensure our creative strategies are innovative and effective.
  • Conduct market research and gather consumer insights to inform creative decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or a similar creative leadership role within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your creative vision, strategic thinking, and execution across various mediums.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated team/personnel management experience.
  • Strong project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail and a passion for creating visually compelling and impactful designs.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements within the financial industry is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $180,000-$200,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
