Data Engineer/Analyst - Houston, TX - Remote

We’re looking for a versatile and driven Data Engineer / Analyst to help build and optimize our big data platform. This role blends hands-on engineering with data analysis to power smarter decisions across the business—from product to marketing and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain a scalable big data platform tailored to business needs
• Collect, clean, transform, and manage business data from various sources
• Create and deliver business reports, dashboards, and custom data extracts
• Conduct data mining, modeling, and predictive analysis aligned with company goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and data-driven recommendations

What You Bring:

• Degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, etc.)
• Advanced SQL proficiency and strong ETL pipeline experience
• Familiarity with tools such as Fivetran, Redshift, dbt, and Metabase
• Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, or other statistical scripting languages
• Strong data visualization and presentation skills
• Self-starter attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment
