About the Role:
A well knows and popular grocery chain is on the hunt for a meticulous, detail-obsessed data hero to help our Merchandising/Buying team conquer a multi-year backlog of cost and SKU code updates. You'll be the wizard who separates product costs from shipping costs, keeps GOLD (our internal system, not a pirate treasure) in check, and makes Excel spreadsheets tremble in awe.
What You'll Be Doing:
Entering numbers like a speed-typing ninja and keeping accuracy levels higher than our almond butter stock.
Updating SKUs, vendor info, and costs in GOLD while retiring outdated values like last season's kale craze.
Exporting, cross-checking, and self-auditing because mistakes are for mere mortals.
Hitting daily throughput targets and raising a flag when something smells fishy (or just doesn't add up).
Keeping logs neat, tidy, and more organized than our freezer section.
Must-Have Skills:
Excel skills that would make your math teacher proud (VLOOKUP mastery required).
Obsessive attention to detail (decimal points fear you).
Critical thinking for spotting discrepancies before they spot you.
Comfort working onsite in a fast-paced environment without losing your spreadsheet zen.
Nice-to-Have Superpowers:
Previous data entry experience in retail, grocery, or numbers-heavy roles.
GOLD experience (bonus points if you don't confuse it with chocolate).
