About the Role

This position is available for transitioning service members participating in the DOD SkillBridge Program.

Job Summary: You will provide vital consulting support within our Government Consulting Services Center of Excellence (CoE), focusing primarily on the Department of Defense or state/local governments. You will be involved in developing study methodologies, data collection and analysis, and writing reports, making this role perfect for those passionate about public service, process improvement, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on assigned topics and prepare formal and informal reports ranging in length to summarize information or persuade stakeholders.
  • Enhance process improvement and business process reengineering initiatives through process mapping, data collection, analysis & visualization, along with creating digital solutions.
  • Support project execution, including preparing reports, developing technical documents and presentations, and contributing to project deliverables.
  • Plan, organize, and lead virtual and in-person engagements with stakeholders for brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.
  • Engage with clients to present results, resolve issues, answer questions, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Assist in project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, organizing teams, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring quality assurance, and managing invoicing.
  • Contribute to proposal development by drafting content for the approach, schedule, and other relevant sections as assigned.
  • Leverage knowledge of the U.S. Department of Defense organization and structure, paying special attention to one or more military services.
  • Gather stakeholder input throughout project phases to ensure diverse perspectives inform our recommendations.
  • Collect and organize information from various sources, including databases, surveys, and customer feedback.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and quantitative methods to evaluate information and propose practical business solutions.
  • Create memos, reports, and presentations conveying findings and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Be prepared to travel to project sites and other offices as required.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, operations research, data science or related field.
  • At least four years of relevant experience in engineering, public works, installation management, construction management, logistics, or base operating support.
  • A valid driver's license, passing the Company's MVR screening is also required.
