Electrical Controls Engineer Electrical Controls Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to design and implement electrical control systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, and control systems, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for electrical equipment and machinery.
• Create and review electrical schematics and control panel designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Program PLCs and HMIs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support robotics, motion control, and automation projects.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and documentation for control panel manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including UL and NEC regulations.
• Implement and optimize servo motion systems and vision systems for enhanced functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design.
• Familiarity with control panel design and UL standards.
• Experience with Allen Bradley systems and automation technologies.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics and control design using AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of motion control systems and robotics is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
