Nesco Resource is currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our client located in Waverly, NY. Multiple positions available with immediate start.

Pay: $22.00
Hours:
1st shift: 6am-230pm
2nd shift: 2pm-1030pm
3rd shift 10pm to 6:30am
Monday thru Friday
Weekends off

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials efficiently while following safety protocols. The Forklift Operator will play a key role in warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a standup forklift to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the facility.
• Stack and organize products in designated storage areas.
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to prevent accidents and damage.
• Assist with inventory control by scanning, labeling, and tracking shipments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and storage areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries.
• Report any malfunctions, safety concerns, or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven experience as a standup forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or production setting
• Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• May require overtime, weekends, or shift work based on operational needs
