Customer Service Rep/Financial Service Rep

This is an exciting customer service opportunity to work with one of Columbus's TOP Employers, a leader in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry!

  • Pay rate: $19.00 per hour
  • First 8 weeks in person - transition to hybrid(2 days a week in office) after 8 weeks
  • Office location - 1000 Yard St. Grandview Heights, OH 43212
  • 5 weeks of paid, in person training - hours Monday-Friday 9 am- 4:30 pm
  • Post Training Hours: Mon-Thurs 11:30 am- 8:00pm & Fridays 9:30 am-6:00 pm
  • Start Date: 7/8/25

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative in our Life New Business phone team, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals and businesses prepare for and protect their retirement. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering extraordinary care.

In this role you would be taking inbound calls from agents who submit life insurance applications. This team answers inbound calls for all pending life cases for all distributions and acts as a liaison to the Case Managers and the Underwriters. This solution center is responsible for delivering a quality experience with each interaction, while maintaining and exceeding service level agreements. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to learn fast and to manage ambiguous requirements, and a strong quality and productivity focus

Qualifications and Core Competencies:

  • Driven candidates eager to build a rewarding career in financial services
  • Strong communicators who excel in service-oriented roles
  • A completed or nearly completed bachelor's degree(preferably in Business, Communications, Economics or related field)
  • Candidates must be able to deliver friendly customer service while talking on the phone and working through computer systems simultaneously
  • Two years of solid work experience in a service related field. Restaurant, Retail, Administrative, Hospitality, etc.
