Job Description

We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our chemical distribution team. This role is focused on generating cold calls, selling new products to new customers, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong sales instincts and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make daily cold calls to prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Sell chemical and equipment products over the phone and via email to industrial, commercial, and manufacturing clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Follow up on leads, provide product information, and prepare competitive quotes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
  • Work closely with the sales team and customer service to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand product lines, pricing structures, and customer needs to effectively close deals.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of inside sales or cold calling experience, advantageous to have chemical, or industrial products.
  • Proven ability to hit sales goals and close deals in a phone-based selling environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a high volume of outbound calls.
  • CRM experience preferred (Salesforce or similar).
