The intake specialist/investigations assistant serves as the first point of contact for potential clients. The role involves handling inbound calls from individuals seeking legal assistance after accidents, conducting client intakes, visiting clients at their homes or other locations to complete documentation, taking photographs of accident vehicles and property damage, and ensuring all information is accurately recorded and transmitted to the legal team. 

The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional detail-oriented, and comfortable working with client in-person and over the phone. 

Key responsibilities:

~ Answer and return calls from potential clients promptly and professionally

~ conduct initial case screening to determine eligibility and gather essential case details

~ Explain firm services, intake procedures, and clients rights clearly and compassionately.

Field Visits:

~ Travel to clients homes, hospitals or other locations to complete intake forms and obtain signatures on representation agreements

~ take clear and comprehensive photographs of accident scenes, vehicle damage, and client injuries

~ ensure all documents are properly signed, dated, and uploaded to the system

Documentation & Case Setup:

~ Accurately enter client information into firm’s database

~ Upload and organize photographs, reports, and supporting documentation

~ Coordinate with attorneys and case manager to ensure seamless transition from intake to case handling

Customer Service & Follow-up:

~Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the intake process

~ Provide updates and answer questions with empathy and professionalism

~ Handle sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications:

~ Prior experience in personal injury or client intake preferred

~ Professional appearance and demeanor, especially in client-facing situations

~ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

~ Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

~ Proficiency with computers, mobile apps, and case management systems

Physical & Schedule Requirements:

~ Occasional evening or weekend appointments as needed

~ Ability to lift/carry light equipment (camera, files, tablet, etc.)

Compensation:

~ Competitive salary or hourly pay commensurate with experience

~Mileage reimbursement provided
