IT Applications Developer/Senior - RPA UiPath Join to apply for the IT Applications Developer/Senior - RPA UiPath role at Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services . The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a skilled IT Applications Developer/Senior with hands‑on UiPath experience to help modernize and automate critical business processes. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions that enhance DHHS’s N‑FOCUS applications—improving performance, efficiency, and service delivery for Nebraskans. This position is listed statewide; however, the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln is highly preferred. Examples of Work Design, develop, and deploy solutions to support DHHS N‑FOCUS applications. Maintain the performance, scalability, and security of all DHHS applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues under tight timeframes, occasionally support after‑hours production incidents. Conduct testing to ensure high‑quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine business requirements into technical solutions. Document technical solutions, application architecture, and development processes. Lead small‑to‑medium projects or components of larger projects, providing clear project plans, timelines, and status reports. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and peers. Must have strong technical, organization and planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Must be able to communicate effectively across multiple platforms and handle issues in a professional manner. Responsible for working with business analysts to analyze and design enhancements and modifications for DHHS solutions. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or other related field and two years of experience, education, or training in coding computer applications; programming experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with .Net, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python, or VBScript with the ability to perform development and enhancements for a large complex computer system. 3+ years designing, developing, and deploying complex workflows using UiPath Studio, REFramework, and custom libraries. Hands‑on experience with UiPath Orchestrator: queue management, credential assets, logging, and exception handling. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or VBScript. Familiarity with attended vs unattended bot architecture and lifecycle management. Programming & Scripting Proficiency. Experience with regex, JSON/XML parsing, and data transformation for structured and unstructured inputs. Experience with SQL Server, DB2, and Excel/CSV data sources for read/write operations and validation.
