The Opportunity:

The Life Enrichment Aide helps in the provision of structured activities of interest to residents via large groups, small groups and 1:1, as directed according to the policies and procedures established by North Central Health Care. Programming is designed to meet the resident’s physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive needs.

The pay range for this role is $14.99-$16.25 per hour, based on experience. This job is occasional and located at our Pine Crest Nursing Home Facility in Merrill, WI.

What You’ll Do:

• Provides Person Centered Service in all interactions with residents.
• Follows the activity calendar in a timely manner.
• Assists in the planning, preparation and execution of large groups, small groups and 1:1 individual activities.
• Prepares and facilitates activities independently, or with the assistance of other staff or volunteers.
• Transports and directs residents to various activities.
• Provides supervision to residents working on projects.
• Adapts activities to meet each residents’ needs.
• Assists residents on community outings.
• Follow diet orders.

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma
• One year of experience in a social work or life enrichment program, or with geriatric residents.

• Respectful and helpful demeanor in all interactions with residents, families and staff
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate with the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry preferred

• Reliable attendance.
• Willingness to adapt to changing surroundings
• Attention to detail and organized.
