Role Overview: Beehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for a CNC Level II Machinist/Programmer. This position is intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities to include machining consumable goods for the DMLS process as well as metal 3D printed components.
Responsibilities: - Setup and run 3-axis and 5-axis CNC vertical machining centers and CMM equipment
- Develop machining fixtures for complex aerospace components
- Program CNC equipment on-line and off-line
- Quote machining work for internal and external customers
- Maintain accurate and legible records of production work and results
- Uphold a high degree of a work-area cleanliness (daily and weekly) and organization
- Explore opportunities to add value to the organization
- Perform preventative and proactive maintenance on various shop equipment
- Understand and identify EH&S hazards, risks and controls of the machine shop operations and activities at the site
- Ensure full compliance with EHS and Quality requirements
- Allocate tooling to be ordered for jobs
Requirements: - 2+ years of CNC machining experience in turbo machinery components
- Experience machining castings, forging or 3D printed hardware an asset using 5 axis CNC, and EDM machines
- High School Diploma
- Experience in SolidCAM, MasterCam or NX PowerMill an asset
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office (2 years programming experience)
- Strong technical skills in GD&T & blueprints
- Strong experience with turning/lathes
- Some experience working with Heat Resistant Super Alloys (Nickel Alloys)
- Experience with OKUMA and Makino multi axis CNC equipment preferred
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, communication and teamwork skills
- Exposure to working within a facility quality systems and codes (ex. ISO 9001, AS9100)

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $37.00-$44.00an hour. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
