Position Details:
Title: Manager Clinical Research
Facility: St. Josephs Hospital or Morton Plant Hospital
Location: Clearwater, FL or Tampa, FL (Flexible based on candidates preference)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Plans, develops and manages the conduct of clinical research. Supervises staff to meet the complex requirements of clinical research trials.
- Acts as an interdepartmental liaison for all research related activities.
- Negotiates contracts and budget with trial sponsors, external research agencies and investigators to ensure support for the research departments.
- Identifies opportunities for developmental growth and expansion.
- Provides strategic, tactical and operational management in the planning and execution of clinical trials.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Clinical Research
- 2+ years of experience in a Supervisory Role
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or related field
Preferred Credentials:
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Cert Clin Research Coordinator (CCRC)
