Adecco is working with a manufacturing company to bring on experienced Mechanical Assemblers for a temporary full-time assignment with the potential to be extended or converted to a permanent role based on business needs.



Job Type: Temp Position, with the possibility of temp to hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $23-$25/hour (based on experience)


Position Overview:
We are seeking candidates with 2-4 years of mechanical assembly experience, particularly in sheet metal, metal components, or parts assembly, who can work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on mechanical assembly of sheet metal and component parts
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience (sheet metal, metal parts, etc.)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and stay on task
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools
• Ability to read assembly instructions or blueprints is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Use of hands/fingers to operate tools, equipment, and handle parts
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Visual acuity for close vision, color recognition, depth perception, and focus adjustments
• Tolerance for noise levels from moderate to high (hearing protection provided)
• Exposure to airborne particles, fumes, vibration, and moving mechanical parts
• Manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature changes

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
