Mechanical Assemblers - San Jose, CA

Multiple Openings

We are currently looking for Mechanical Assemblers who, under the guidance of the Assembly Supervisor, are responsible for bench assembly operations . This role involves assembling parts, pieces, and/or products using various tools and equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in a manufacturing environment. It is a full-time position.

• Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to accurately assemble products.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools.
• Apply gluing and sealing techniques using compounds like Loctite, epoxy, and RTV.
• Handle v arious sizes of materials , from heavy parts to small intricate ones .
• Perform soldering and assembly of various parts to VW transducers.
• Conduct quality testing and inspection to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and report product defects to appropriate personnel.
• Rework and repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes.
• Maintain accurate records/logs.
• Handle ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
• Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of assembly experience.
• Other Requirements: Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions an d blueprints for complex and standard product assembly.
• Ability to maintain equipment and a clean work environment.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
