Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care.
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Performing EKGs
- Obtaining patient medical histories/medications and recording vital signs
- Preparing examination rooms.
- Scanning, updating, and maintaining electronic medical records to prepare patients to see a physician.
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
Knowledge of medical terminology
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Excellent communication skills
Ability to provide compassionate patient care
Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Please note that previous experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
