Welders Needed! - Immediately Hiring!
The job description entails a range of tasks to ensure welders lay down high quality welds. In performing these duties, welders conduct preventative maintenance.
MIG Welder Role: Are responsible for the construction of pallet racking and beams, staging beams, and uprights, making sure that the welds match specified requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Setup gas-shield MiG-welder and weld parts to job specifications. Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job tasks. Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment. Perform all other duties as required. Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints, drawings, specifications, weld symbiology, tolerances Ability to calculate cuts and bends required to perform sheet metal or structural steel fabrication Clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting of parts and components as necessary to satisfy technical requirements and create final welded and/or assembled product Ability to control processes of fitting, burning, and welding to avoid problem related to overheat, distortion, expansion, and/or shrinkage of parts Examining finish products and spare parts and comparing them with drawings and quality control documents to determine if specifications and tolerances are met Candidates will be responsible for meeting daily production goals Layout, position, and alignment of work to be fitted and welded together based on drawing, blueprint, or other relevant information provided, to produce high quality work that meets and exceeds customer expectations Work safely and efficiently Perform all housekeeping duties. Follow company safety practices and procedures. Required Education and Experience:
Minimum 2 Years experience preferred by not necessary for a candidate that shows appropriate knowledge and ability.
Ability to pass a shop specific weld test. Able to stand for 8 to 10-hour shift Able to be able to lift up to 50 lbs Able to lift, push, pull, lean, bend and squat for an 8 to 10-hour shift Attention to detail is a must Ability to read blueprints Ability to able to read a tape measure Able be able to set up a machine Able be able to think on feet.
Required Education and Experience:
Extreme hot and cold conditions base on outside weather Possible fumes/vapors from gas of weld gun Constant dust and debris from the environment maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
Job Type: Full-time M-F & Part Time Weekends
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience and weld testing score.
