Full-Time | $35/hour & $40/hr for late nights when working seasonal hours.
A warm and welcoming family in Southport, CT — within walking distance of the Southport Metro-North train station and close to I-95 — is seeking an experienced, reliable, and nurturing Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their two children, a 7-month-old girl, and a 2.3-year-old boy, while providing light household support.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Flexibility for 40-50 hours per week
During January–April: two evenings per week (minimum) may extend until 7:30–8:00 PM
Occasional flexibility appreciated; family can offer earlier Friday hours in the summer
Compensation & Benefits:
$35/hr $40/hr for seasonal, late hours

Boy, 2.3 years old: A fun, busy, and curious little boy who loves to laugh and play. His evening routine includes dinner, bath time, and play before bedtime around 7:00–8:00 PM.
Girl, 7 months old: A sweet baby currently on an infant schedule of feeding, sleeping, and gentle interaction.
Provide attentive, loving care for both children.
Assist with meal prep for the family and children.
Family laundry and light housekeeping/organization
Maintain tidy, safe, and organized home spaces.
Support evening routines (dinner, bath, bedtime)
Coordinate with parents to ensure smooth transitions from daycare.
Occasionally, stay later during the busy season (Jan–Apr).
CPR and First Aid Certified
Experience with infants and toddlers required
A clean driving record is required; the family can provide a car
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsible, patient, and proactive
Comfortable assisting with household tasks in addition to childcare
