Job Description
SUMMARY: The Mail Clerk is responsible for gathering, sorting, and batching documents according to work types and client specifications, performing duties related to the regular handling of mail and packages. Inputting lists of items, numbers, or other data into the computer; or completing forms that appear on a computer screen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Receives, sorts, and delivers mail and packages
- Assist with collecting, shipping and mailing all outgoing pieces
- Deliver paper, toner, and mailing and office supplies
- May be responsible for lifting and moving heavy items
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Other mail room functions as required
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Must have a basic competence in computer usage and software (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, etc)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs
QUALIFICATION - High school graduate or equivalent preferred
