We're hiring Partner & Alliance Sales Associates to power the next chapter of our Business Development team. How You'll Make an Impact

You will report to the Director of Sales and be trained in all facets of business development, relationship management, and our specialized consulting services—including tax credits and incentives, talent solutions, and strategic advisory. This is an exciting growth opportunity for a motivated professional to be developed into a future leader in sales, partnerships, consulting and professional services.

You’ll gain exposure to professional services, financial and HR consulting by working directly with internal leaders, CPAs, and industry executives. With up to 60% travel, you’ll attend national conferences, visit client sites, and participate in partner and industry events that help elevate ABGi’s brand. This role is based in Houston, Texas, with a hybrid schedule. Love to travel? Great - this role embodies the road warriors mentality with frequent travel and hands-on mentorship.

Responsibilities (A Day in the Life)

  • Partner with ABGi leadership to build and manage relationships with CPA firms, Industry alliances, event organizers, channel partners, and client accounts.
  • Discover and conduct outreach to new prospects and nurture existing partner relationships through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Represent ABGi at industry conferences, client visits, networking events, and educational webinars—travel up to 3 weeks per month.
  • Participate in hands-on onboarding, learning sessions, and client shadowing to build domain knowledge in tax incentives and workforce advisory.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support events, social content, campaigns, and speaking engagements.
  • Maintain and update Salesforce CRM with outreach activities, leads, and engagement notes.
  • Schedule and confirm discovery meetings and help prep leaders for external meetings.
  • Join training and shadowing sessions to build a strong foundation in professional services, sales strategy, and channel management.

Are We a Match? (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's or Graduate level educational background with internships providing with strong sales, business development, marketing or recruiting experience or 1+ years of experience in a professional sales, executive recruiting, consulting, or financial services sales role in lieu of related internship experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and interest in relationship building, business growth, and client success.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time nationally(expenses covered).
  • Comfort with cold calling, outbound outreach, and attending live events.
  • Must be highly motivated, driven by success, loves “the close” and highly competitive. Like to win? This is the role for you!

  • Experience or internships in B2B sales, technical backgrounds, financial services, or talent/recruiting industries.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn, Salesforce, SalesLoft, HubSpot, or other CRM/marketing tools.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and passion for entrepreneurship, consulting, or sales development.
