Position Title: Plastic-Molding Injection Set Up Technician

Wage: $30-$32/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6am-3pm

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturer in Palmyra, WI that’s looking to add a skilled Plastic Injection Molding Set Up Technician to their team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on expert who enjoys problem-solving, fine-tuning machines, and keeping production running at a high level. If you excel at precision setups, have a strong mechanical mindset, and take pride in producing quality parts, this role offers a solid environment where your experience truly makes an impact. Plastic-Molding Injection Set Up Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up and change injection molds according to production requirements
- Start up and shut down molding machines, ensuring optimal operation and quality standards
- Adjust processing parameters to maintain consistent production and resolve molding issues
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on molding equipment
- Monitor machines during operation to identify and correct issues in real time
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain accurate setup and production documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Plastic-Molding Injection Set Up Technician Requirements:
- Prior experience in plastic injection molding setup and processing required
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Knowledge of molding equipment, auxiliary equipment, and related tools
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed
