JOB TITLE:   Printshop Specialist  
TEAM:   Community Environment  
REPORTS TO:   Facilities & Logistics Manager  
JOB STATUS: Full Time  
 
OVERVIEW:  
  The Print Shop Specialist is responsible for  operating printing equipment, managing  stock & inventory, providing customer service to both internal & external stakeholders, ensuring quality control of printed materials, maintaining all shop equipment, and performing basic administrative tasks while adhering to established print specifications and deadlines.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:  
 
  • Process & sort mail in compliance with US Postal Service requirements for bulk mail 
  • Print documentation & enter information into Postal Wizard for submission to post office 
  • Fold, bind, staple, or insert printed materials into envelopes based on client specifications 
  • Prepare supplies & materials for shipment, including international mailing 
  • Process documentation required for customs declarations & carnets 
  • Maintain work space: Clean and wipe down work area, organize supply inventory & replenish as needed 
  • Assist with processing checks and operating postage machine 
  • Operate a variety of printing equipment including copiers, printers, laminators, and binding machines.  
  • Load paper, adjust print settings, and monitor print quality.  
  • Perform basic finishing tasks like cutting, folding, and stapling 
  • Log print jobs, including customer details, print specifications, and pricing.  
  • Generate invoices and collect payments.  
  • Maintain print job records and reports.  
  • Perform other assignments in the mailroom as needed 
 
  OM USA TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:  
 
  • Attend and participate in weekly worship, prayer, and team building sessions and in other staff programs including training, prayer and team building initiatives. 
  • Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes and policies. 
  • Participate in projects or task force groups which focus on issues having organization wide impact. 
  • Perform or assist with other projects & assignments as needed. 
  FOCUSED RESPONSIBILITIES:   
 
  • Set up, print, & process gift receipts & other materials/documentation as needed for internal & external stakeholders 
  • Follow instructions regarding format of final documentation 
  • Process mailing lists, update system software accordingly, and communicate all changes to list owners. 
  • Inspect printed materials for accuracy, color consistency, and quality issues.  
  • Identify and report any printing errors to the supervisor.  
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on printing equipment.  
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate person 
  • Maintain stock levels of paper, toner cartridges, and other printing supplies.  
  • Track inventory levels and place orders when necessary.  
  • Organize and store printing materials properly.  
  • Step in for the Logistics Specialist if needed 
  TEAM PARTICIPATION:

  • Attend & participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed & maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes and policies. 
  CREDENTIALS/REQUIRED EDUCATION:   
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Basic computer literacy for file management and software operations 
  • Ability to operate printing equipment with accuracy 
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent  
  • Attention to detail to ensure print quality 
  • Basic math skills for calculations related to printing costs 
  • Ability to lift and move paper stacks  
  • 3 years related experience preferred
