DELTA Fabricating is seeking a dynamic Production Assembly to join our growing team.
Production Assembly is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces using hand tools and mechanical equipment consistent with a specified set of blueprints or schematics.
This position also manages parts inventory needed and conducts quality checks on completed items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Produces components by assembling parts, subassemblies, tools, and other materials consistent with templates, schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Positions/aligns components and uses hand tools and/or machines to assemble parts
• Conducts quality-control checks, including examining connections for correct fit for all fastening parts and subassemblies
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 6 months experience

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
