Salary: $68,840- $78,000 per year, exempt Organization Overview Founded in 2004, Brilliant Corners provides innovative housing and housing-related services to California's most vulnerable individuals, with an emphasis on those transitioning from, or at risk of, homelessness or institutionalization. We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes. We implement a broad array of scattered-site, one-on-one supportive housing, and clinical case management programs through partnerships with developmental services, homeless services, veterans' services, and health care sectors. Department Summary The Brilliant Corners' Housing Services Team is nationally recognized for its ability to secure scattered-site and project-based housing for vulnerable and extremely low-income households within tight rental markets. With offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego, our team moves hundreds of folks into permanent housing every month. We use robust landlord engagement strategies, including financial incentives, to secure community-based units for vulnerable populations. Our participants include people exiting institutions, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and people experiencing homelessness. We pair landlord engagement with tenancy-centered services using a customer-service approach to ensure shared success for our participants, property providers, case management partners, and funders. This collaborative approach is instrumental in ending cycles of homelessness and institutionalization for thousands of people in Los Angeles County and across California. About The Program Development Team Housing Services' Program Development team supports five focal areas across all regions: quality assurance, program evaluation, program policy, client engagement, and staff development. This newly formed team advances the department's progress in these areas with the goal of ensuring that all clients Brilliant Corners serves across the state receive high-quality, client-centered services. Position Summary The QA Analyst supports with the implementation of quality assurance efforts that ensure the integrity, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of Northern California, San Diego and Case Management programs at Brilliant Corners. The QA Analyst will collaborate closely with program teams, support teams and leadership to gather insights, analyze data, monitor performance and ensure data quality across programs. This role requires a strong understanding of housing programs, experience with data systems, and the ability to identify and support solutions that improve service delivery. Position Responsibilities

  • Support Internal and External Requests: Act as a resource for funder and internal program teams by responding to data requests, providing support around QA-level data, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Generate Reports: Produce regular reports on client data, program metrics, and performance outcomes to support internal teams, funders, and other stakeholders. Ensure that all reports meet the required standards for accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Monitoring and Analysis: Assist program teams by analyzing data for trends and insights that could help improve service delivery. Provide data-driven recommendations for enhancing programs based on QA-level findings.
  • Assist with Data Integrity and Quality Control: Support the quality assurance efforts by reviewing data for accuracy, quality issues, completeness, and consistency, providing feedback on and resolving discrepancies.
  • Audit and Compliance Support: Prepare data and documents for funder audits or internal assessments, ensuring that reports and data are ready on time and comply with the necessary standards.
  • Collaboration and Training Support: Collaborate with Program Teams, Operations, Learning and Development, and Data and Tech teams to support quality control. Assist in providing training or resources to program teams on data entry, reporting processes, and best practices to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. Facilitate communication, including meeting facilitation and follow up.
Requirements Professional Experience
  • 2 + years working in the non-profit sector, or human services, or supportive housing
  • Experience in data analysis, report generation, and providing support in a non-profit environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend QA improvements
  • Proficient in data management, analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, Asana).
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to equity and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of QA methods, supportive housing programs and non-profit reporting requirements.

Physical Requirements Candidates should have physical mobility for tasks such as standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces. They should be capable of performing stationary tasks like sitting for up to 6 to 8 hours a day. Additionally, candidates should be able to lift, carry, push, pull light to moderate weights up to 15 pounds safely. Requires mental acuity for analytical reasoning and document interpretation. As a member of the OPEIU, LOCAL 30, AFL-CIO, the incumbent will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
