Summary

Working closely with the Director of Communications, the Director of Creative Services, and the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer, the Senior Creative Marketing and Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing tactics that enhance brand awareness, drive market share, and achieve business objectives. This role requires a high degree of creativity paired with an understanding of the Firm’s capabilities and the firm’s business objectives. The Senior Creative Marketing and Brand Manager will possess strong project management and analytical skills to bring creative projects to fruition and analyze their effectiveness in growing the firm’s business.

  • Clarify and reinforce the firm brand internally, with the goal of encouraging loyalty to, and pride in, the firm. Find creative ways to support the firm’s brand messaging across the firm (from signage to videos to events).
  • Reinforce our firm’s values and history and envision the firm of the future. Inculcate in the firm’s lawyers and business professionals what it means to be part of the firm and what sets them apart. Find creative ways to tell the stories that connect them.
  • Ensure brand consistency and integrity. Identify and have updated collateral with outdated branding and ensure ongoing adherence to brand guidelines across the firm.
  • Design and execute firmwide creative marketing campaigns – including video content – aligned with the brand strategy.
  • Provide ideas and guidance on compelling marketing materials, including innovative pitch documents.
  • Generate new ideas for creative marketing approaches and share with Business Development and Communications colleagues across practices and industries.
  • Share best practices for effective webinars and marketing campaigns across the Marketing Department.
  • Implement lead generation strategies around firmwide campaigns and advise team members on doing so for practice/industry webinars.
  • Identify and assess new tools for digital/video marketing.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor campaign performance and measure ROI and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand how clients engage with firm brands as well as marketing campaigns.
  • Share learnings across the Marketing Department in terms of creative approaches to marketing that are successful.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent significant experience.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in creative marketing and brand management; law firm experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of creative marketing, brand management and law firm practices with direct work experience required.
  • High degree of collaboration cross-functionally with the Communications, Business Development, Creative Services and other teams to align brand and creative marketing strategy with overall business goals.
  • Expertise in technology relevant to the position; proactively use most current technology to further teamwork, client service, and efficiency. Prior experience with Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, with driving sense of responsibility, accountability, and responsiveness.
  • High degree of creativity and focus on implementing marketing approaches that drive business.
  • Strong business acumen; the ability to recognize marketing opportunities and to pursue them strategically.
  • Excellent attention to details in all areas, including writing, copy editing, researching, and managing data.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly assess information, anticipates issues, and make effective decisions, including ability to draw clear conclusions from a diverse collection of data.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

New York, San Francisco salary range: $164,000.00-$229,000.00, plus bonus.

Los Angeles, Washington, DC salary range: $156,000.00-$218,000.00, plus bonus.
