Department Overview
Emergency Preparedness and Response is responsible for enterprise level emergency management planning, training, exercises, and prevention within PG&E’s Wildfire, Emergency & Operations. The Emergency Response Department is responsible for evaluating company business needs to develop emergency management strategies aligned with the business and related emergency management groups. The department increases preparedness and capabilities, instills advanced understanding of the Incident Command System, and responds to enterprise-wide emergencies.
Position Summary
Partners with other leaders to develop and recommend a strategic direction for emergency preparedness and response and public partnerships. Oversees staff involved in implementation of emergency plans & processes, training, emergency exercises/drills, communication and actual incident management. Serves as a liaison to public safety agencies during emergencies. Ensures compliance with all company and regulatory safety policies and practices.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range , the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
Bay Minimum: $147,000
Bay Maximum: $251,000

CA Minimum: $140,000
CA Maximum: $238,000
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
