American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with ARRT (R) certification, Ohio license, and at least 18 months of permanent specialty experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Position is based in a hospital radiology department providing general x-ray imaging
  • Work schedule is five 8-hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Equipment includes GE XR646 stationary rooms, Shimadzu MX8 and AGFA DXD-100 portable units
  • Utilizes Siemens Agile Max, Siemens Workflow RIS, AGFA El PACS, and Epic EMR
  • Responsibilities include producing diagnostic x-ray images using both stationary and portable imaging equipment
  • Assessment testing for EKG rhythm recognition and medication safety will be completed during orientation
  • Dress code and scrub requirements will follow facility policy
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
  • Permanent employees may not return to the facility within one year of prior assignment end date
  • All requests for time off are to be discussed during the interview
  • References must be supervisory; non-supervisory references will not be considered

  • Active ARRT (R) certification required at time of consideration
  • Active AHA BLS certification required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience as a General Radiologic Technologist in the specialty required prior to travel
  • Must obtain or hold a current permanent Ohio license before start (license required if applicable)
  • Two supervisory references—one must be from the most recent permanent job, and one from the most recent travel assignment if applicable
  • Compact state licenses accepted for eligible start dates
  • Candidate must be nicotine free; negative nicotine drug screen required within 12 months before start
  • No open background check cases
