Vehicle Engineering Specialist- General Assembly

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the technical lead for your area during vehicle launches.
• Drive new equipment installs, supplier coordination, and spec package creation (Quality, Safety, Layout, Ergonomics, etc.).
• Collaborate with global R&D and Engineering teams (Korea/USA) to ensure launch success.
• Host virtual meetings to track design changes and project status.
• Develop detailed Assembly Process Sheets, using visuals to communicate tasks clearly.
• Verify process feasibility, quality, and assembly flow—including torque specs and sequencing.
• Analyze and improve performance across safety, quality, productivity, cost, and manpower.
• Support daily production and mentor team members with technical training.
• Present updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Stay ahead of manufacturing trends and propose innovative solutions.

What You Bring:

• Bilingual in Korean and English
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in vehicle assembly or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience in GA equipment, automation, and new plant setup.
• Strong skills in MS Office; CAD/CATIA is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally.
