Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Executive Chauffeur will be responsible for transporting NBCUniversal Executives to and from their destinations which can include (but are not limited to): the New York Metro Area, Tri-state Area, and Philadelphia. The Executive Chauffeur will safely and efficiently operate a company-issued vehicle while maintaining the strictest of confidentiality and decorum. This position will be based in New York, NY and will report to the Manager of Executive Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport Senior Executives as required in company-issued vehicle
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and professionalism with all passengers
  • Maintain a superior driving record and always operate the vehicle with the utmost safety in mind, adhering to all state and local motor vehicles laws
  • Take direction from Executives, Managers and Executives’ assistants on travel plans and any changes to those plans
  • Keep updated records of all business trips including receipts, mileage, and hours logged
  • Responsible for all company property which entails the regular cleaning and maintenance services for company-issued vehicles
  • Knowledge of NY Metro streets, highways, traffic patterns and local laws to navigate safely and efficiently
  • Ensure vehicles are equipped with the necessary amenities for passenger comfort
  • Pick up and drop off all passengers without delay
  • Be physically able to open doors for passengers and assist with luggage or other carry-on items when requested
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a violation-free driving record
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
    • Chauffeuring for senior executives
    • Driving in Manhattan and large populated cities such as New York, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia
    • Driving in remote areas and suburbs
    • Safely navigating directions from a GPS device or other means
    • Maintaining confidentiality of all passenger conversations and pick-up/drop-off locations
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and be on-call 24 hours a day/7 days a week; mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays when required
