JOB SUMMARY:

Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures as stated in the company handbook in order to maintain a fair and consistent working environment. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

• Weld VAF body to maintain its position.
• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting each order.
• Measuring and cutting materials to be used in each order.
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• Set up fixtures - weld, TIG VAF's into position.
• Must have the ability to follow the production schedule and work with little or no supervision.
• Responsible for keeping up with daily production flow and needs while meeting all requirements of the product drawings.
• Operate assorted forklift models as needed in order to move products, parts, equipment, materials, etc. in a safe fashion.
• Responsible for moving loads of material safely from one process to another.
• Maintain equipment and report any irregularities or malfunctions prior to end of shift.
• Train and assist other personnel as needed.
• Work safely to maintain daily production quotas and reporting with a very high standard of product quality. Follow all company policies and regulations including but not limited to job-related safety, health, ISO, personal protective equipment, security, environmental procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties as needed but not specified in this description.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITES:

• Ability to follow instructions and continued training throughout employment with a desire for self-improvement.
• Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to read tape measures with the same ability to read calipers and micrometers.
• A willingness to work any shift on any day including overtime scheduled or in an emergency.
• Trustworthy with ability to work with little or no supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.

TRAINING REQUIRED:

Training will be ongoing throughout employment based on duties as assigned.
