TITLE : Certified Medical Assistant

LOCATION : Glasgow, MT 59230

SHIFT : Monday Friday 8-5pm

TERM : 13 WEEK

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The CMA will perform administrative and clinical tasks to support physicians and ensure the efficient operation of the medical facility.

Clinical Duties :

• Prepare and room patients for examinations and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, height, weight).
• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect/prep specimens (urine, blood, etc.).
• Conduct EKGs and perform phlebotomy (if certified/trained).
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms.

Administrative Duties:

• Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Greet and check in patients; verify insurance and update patient records.
• Handle telephone calls, relay messages, and provide information to patients.
• Process billing, coding, and insurance claims (depending on office workflow).
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
