Job Description

Bemana is seeking an experienced Motor Winder to join our industrial service team. In this specialized role, you will be responsible for rewinding and repairing a wide range of AC and DC motors, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with proven motor rewind experience, strong knowledge of electrical testing, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results for our customers.

Position Offers:

• Up to $42/hr depending on experience + overtime opportunities. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions

Job Duties:

• Rewind 3-phase form coil and random wound stators ranging from fractional HP (115V) to 13.2KV, 12,000 HP
• Rewind DC armatures and fields with precision and accuracy
• Perform and interpret electrical tests including surge tests, hi-pot tests, megger readings, and resistance checks
• Operate electrical test equipment including surge testers, low resistance bridges, multimeters, meggers, ammeters, and voltmeters
• Ensure all rewind work meets or exceeds industry standards for safety and performance
• Maintain accurate documentation of all testing and repair activities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of motor rewind experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in operating and interpreting results from standard electrical testing equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with attention to detail
• Must provide own basic hand tools (testing equipment provided by company)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform precise winding tasks
• Willingness to work overtime as required
