job summary:
An Electrical and Electronics Engineer is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role involves developing, documenting, and managing electrical/electronic components and supplier interactions, while executing strategic product plans and growing technical and cross-functional expertise.

responsibilities:

• Develop and document electronic and electrical components.

• Perform simulations and related activities to support component development.

• Define and document requirements for components to be supplied by external vendors.

• Recommend suitable suppliers and manage operational relationships with them.

• Distribute and oversee supplier work for assigned components.

• Evaluate new components and make internal selection decisions.

• Secure alignment with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Manage both complex components and/or a large number of simpler components.

• Deliver and execute a product strategy roadmap related to assigned components.

Skills:

• Able to work independently, plan tasks, and take lead on assignments.

• Proactively engage in learning and professional development.

• Demonstrate increasing proficiency in the electrical/electronic discipline.

• Show potential for long-term growth within the organization.

• Develop a broader understanding of systems beyond core discipline.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
