Maintenance Manager (Bilingual – English & Spanish)

Location: Chicago, IL

Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM

Salary: $120,000 – $130,000

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k)

Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. This role provides leadership to maintenance supervisors and technicians while driving preventive maintenance strategies that support production efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, projects, and work order execution
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Manage CMMS/work order systems, prioritize tasks, assign resources, and ensure timely completion
• Coordinate external contractors and vendors for major repairs and capital projects
• Promote a strong safety culture through audits, inspections, and employee training
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support production goals
• Oversee spare parts inventory, maintenance documentation, and KPI reporting
• Coach, train, and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in preventive maintenance systems; Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
