General Function

The Asset Protection Team Lead is responsible for assisting Sr. Manager with physical security, investigations, training, and the overall protection of Luxottica employees and company assets.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Employee Safety / Training
  2. Security of Company Assets
  3. Physical Security
  4. Conduct Investigations
  5. Lobby Desk Reception
  6. Identify and resolve issues involving policy gaps
  7. Policy development and enforcement
  8. Advanced knowledge and ability to perform all Asset Protection Employee duties
  9. Knowledge of Security Systems including:
    • Access control software, cards, readers and controllers
    • Security Camera Systems and DVR systems
  10. Ability to maintain, diagnose, and/or repair security systems including:
    • Access Control systems
    • Cameras and DVR systems
  11. Alarm response and notification
  12. Maintain, support, and implement the Emergency Response Action Plan
  13. Assist with the training of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
  14. Coordinate security coverage for special events
  15. Physical security and other audits
  16. Administrative duties as needed
  17. Assist Sr. Manager with investigations of internal and external incidents. Basic investigative priorities include:
    • Identify, analyze, document, and safeguard evidence to support investigative conclusions.
    • Prepare comprehensive and professionally written investigative reports.
    • Conduct investigative interviews.
    • Thoroughly investigate Hotline tips.
    • Cultivate partnerships with subject matter experts.
    • Enter all investigative findings into the Loss Prevention Management System (LPMS).
    • Coordinate with law enforcement for potential prosecution when appropriate.
    • Complete incident reports and disseminate to key Leaders as appropriate.
  18. Attend local Loss Prevention meetings when appropriate, such as meetings held by the NRF, ASIS, or the local ORCA
  19. Cultivate and maintain partnerships with Facility Leadership and other internal partners
  20. Develop partnerships with local law enforcement agencies, vendors, and consultants
  21. Communicate and interface with employees at all levels of Luxottica management to ensure the protection of employees and company assets
  22. Document incidents and investigative activities

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree
  • 3 + years of Asset Protection experience
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Advanced knowledge of Physical Security Equipment (alarms, EAS systems, CCTV applications and CCTV remote monitoring systems)
  • Strong organization skills with high attention to detail, timeliness, and confidentiality
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals, including those at different levels within Luxottica, Local and Federal law enforcement agencies, investigative firms and various business partners
  • Knowledge of basic office tools such as word, power point & excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, legal, or equivalent experience

Pay Range: 60,405.80 - 80,176.28

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
