The New Business Associate provides administrative and operational support to Creative Planning Trust Companys (CPTC) New Business Group.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assists with the review and onboarding of prospective and new client relationships.This includes, but is not limited to, the review of trust agreements, Wills, financial statements, and asset related documentation.
• Collect information and documentation needed for completing new account reviews.
• Build and maintain client files for new account reviews.
• Discusses Creative Planning Trust Companys services with prospective clients and other lines of business at Creative Planning.
• Communicates directly with clients and other lines of business at Creative Planning regarding the onboarding of approved new business opportunities.
• Coordinates necessary document drafting and execution with appropriate legal counsel for the transition of a trust to Creative Planning Trust Company.
• Schedules and attend meetings as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• At least 2 years personal trust experience is preferred.
• Ability to foster positive client relationships.
• Ability to review trust documents and financial statements.
• Ability to represent the organization and the trust company in a professional and positive manner.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of a growing business.
• Flexibility in adhering to company policies and procedures.
